How we work

moms4all follows Brooke Stephens’s work and Utah’s school book removals through public records. Every finding links to the record it comes from, so you can check it yourself.

Where the records come from

How we save them

We save a dated copy of the records we cite, so a finding can still be checked if the original page changes or disappears. For each saved copy we also record a checksum, a digital fingerprint that changes if even one character of the file changes. That lets us show a copy has not been altered since we saved it.

We leave out private people’s home addresses, personal phone numbers, personal email addresses and children’s names.

What the labels mean

LabelMeaning
DocumentedA record supports the stated action or claim.
CorroboratedMore than one source supports the finding.
Strongly supportedThe records support this view, within stated limits.
Possible connectionA possible link that needs more evidence.
UnknownThe link has not yet been established.
HeldThe source record is not linked yet, so the page holds back the finding.

Who we name

People are named for what they did in a public role: filing challenges, running an organization, voting on a board, writing an official report. We leave out personal details that have nothing to do with that role.

How we use AI

This site is “made by humans, assisted by AI.” AI tools help us search large sets of records, transcribe recordings and check pages for errors. A person reads the original record before any finding is published, and quotes are checked against the source.

Corrections

Found an error or have a record to share? Email ask@moms4all.org with the page link, what you found and any supporting source.

When we correct a fact, we add a dated note at the bottom of that page saying what changed.

Independence

moms4all is independent research. It is free to read and has no paywall.
