Get a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to the National Book Rating Index We were recently asked by a librarian to create an index without explicit content so she could recommend it to her patrons who wanted help finding clean books . So we created an index of reviews and reports from family-friendly organizations. The index is nearly 17,000 titles and growing ! Kids will be able to use the free version of this index to find good books and avoid explicit ones! They can type in title and author and see ONLY the book rating; they will not be able to read any reviews. Members get a wealth of resources! Members can search books by rating, recommended, removals , location of removals , keywords, and content concerns . Books are linked to the originating website to read the full report. Books may have multiple reports linked in; we are linking in reviews from Kirkus and the ALA's recommended "Book Resumes" so you can gauge how much you can trust these organizations' reviews to protect your child's innocence. Please add your local book removals here and we will add it to the index. To discourage children from signing into this index and accessing explicit reports, we are requiring a low, monthly membership for access. This membership fee is tax deductible through our non-profit, and will go towards increasing the quantity of our reports, and will give you full-index access. Membership pricing is expected to start at $5/month. That's why our LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP for only $50 is such an amazing deal. It will pay for itself in less than a year! To keep kids from the explicit reports on RatedBooks.org, without removing access for the thousands who use our website every month, this index will be on a completely separate website, coming end of 2025. RatedBooks.org will continue to function as we always have. All of the BookLooks and RatedBooks reports and our spreadsheet will remain free access for all. We are so grateful for the work you are doing to protect children and want to offer all of the support we can. Get a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP now Check out our site
